Editorial Policy
This page explains how WinScout AI researches, writes, checks and updates its product pages and guides, so you can judge how much to rely on them. Last updated: November 6, 2026.
Our goal
We publish product research that a seller can act on: real costs, the right supplier for each country, honest risks and clear numbers. If a page would not help a real seller make a better decision, we do not publish it.
Who writes our content
Our content is produced by the WinScout AI team. We work every day with online sellers, suppliers, couriers and cash-on-delivery orders in the markets we cover, and that experience shapes what we write about and the examples we use. You can read more on our About page.
How we research a product
- We look for demand signals: active and long-running ads, store activity, search trends and supplier stock.
- We check costs: supplier price, shipping, platform fees, VAT or GST and typical ad costs for each country.
- We compare suppliers and delivery times for the countries the product suits.
- We check risks: saturation, platform rules, fragile or restricted goods and likely return reasons.
- We score the product with the method published on How We Find Winning Products and label all sales figures as estimates.
How we write and check guides
- Sources first. Facts about laws, taxes, fees and platform rules come from official or primary sources wherever possible, and we link to them.
- Every number is worked out. Profit, break-even and VAT examples are calculated step by step and checked before publishing.
- Country by country. We write for the 13 markets we cover and say clearly when advice applies only to some of them.
- Plain language. Short sentences, real examples and no hype.
- Use of AI. We use software and AI tools to help collect data and draft text. A page is published only after its facts and calculations have been checked, and we take responsibility for everything we publish.
Independence
- Advertisers do not choose, review or approve our content, and ads are served automatically by Google.
- If an article contains an affiliate link or a paid placement, it is labelled, and it does not change our scores or recommendations.
- For every product we compare data from many suppliers, show each one with its real prices and delivery times, and rank them by what suits each country — not by any business relationship. Any connection we have with a supplier is disclosed in our Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure.
- We do not accept payment to give a product a higher score.
Updates
Prices, rules and trends change, so we review our guides regularly — key guides at least every six months and seasonal guides before each season. Product pages are updated when supplier prices, stock or saturation change. Each page shows when it was last updated.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, please tell us through our contact page with the page address and what looks wrong. We check every report. When we correct a factual error that could have affected a reader’s decision, we update the page and its date.
